Elmira Infinite Canvas is a public art program of Community Arts of Elmira, in collaboration with groups, organizations, businesses and the City of Elmira, funded by donations, sponsorships and grants.
At times, we are the lead organization working with supporting community partners; other times we are the supporting community partner, collaborating with assistance in public art project management, securing artists, budgeting and/or grant writing, for example, especially with murals. Community Arts of Elmira hosts both indoor and outdoor mural projects. In addition, we are expanding our community mural classes, as well as professional development opportunities for muralists, along with Interactive Community Mural Boards.
Public art is not only a visual gift to the community present, but is also an attractor to those considering visiting or moving to the community, uplifting neighborhood, district and place. We invite you to collaborate with Elmira Infinite Canvas as an artist, student, organization, group or business!

Google Map Location"Giving" by Artist Brad Leiby at Meals on Wheels, 409 William Street, Elmira, New York, 14901 Brad Leiby designed and installed this signature mural. The figures will be blueish green for skin tone. This stands out from the blue of the background enough to separate them but keep them a part of the same blue-toned world. Their clothing is also blue variations for the same reason. They are made of the same material that their world is made of. The woman is handing a bowl of flowers to the man. This gesture could represent the giving of something that can bring positivity to someone who does not have the ability to do that independently, and the woman's closed eyes could represent giving unconditionally. The mural is a call out to people who are in need and to people who have help to offer. Ribbon Cutting: June 10, 2019.
