"Introduction to Observational Drawing" Two-Day Class

Featured Artist(s): Marlowe Lowe
Description: "Introduction To Observational Drawing" Class Led by Marlowe Lowe! Saturdays, September, 2018, 9am-Noon, $68, Community Arts of Elmira! Drawing is the most fundamental tool in any artistic practice. It is a way in which to express ideas and spark the imagination--a process of seeing, analyzing and depicting/translating forms and spaces, real or imagined, into a two-dimensional image. The goal of this two-day class is to engage students in technical theory and skill building exercises that will challenge them to consider different concepts of what it means to “see” or perceive the world around you. Register online at https://www.corning-cc.edu/register-non-credit-course or call 607-936-5501.
