Art education can take many forms. Community Arts endeavors to use them all to help individuals develop their creative side--and the benefits of being exposed to the creative process go far beyond the art itself.
What are these forms of education?
· Gallery visits: see the work of the masters; stand in front of those art objects others only see in a book.
· Exhibits: showing the works of many local and regional artists, in media such as photography, sculpture, pottery, fabric, paper, stained glass, painting, fused glass and woodworking.
· Performances: demonstrating the talents of young and old with storytelling, poetry, haiku, dancing, singing, playing an instrument and acting.
· Classes: teaching various art forms; getting your hands dirty using the materials, processes and techniques of the various arts.
· Forums: presenting an informal place to discuss the arts; getting involved in a discussion that leads to a better understanding of art and what makes it.
The creative mind is an amazing thing. Let Community Arts help you develop yours.
