Artist Statement

I am an illustrator, specializing in children’s books. I have a degree in Graphic Design from SUNY Farmingdale, and became an art director for American Lithotech on Long Island many years ago.

I've been within the graphic design field for approximately twenty years, and have currently started my own illustration business. I also makes a living completing logo and graphic designs, and is an award-winning artist in my spare time.

I work with watercolor, pencil, acrylic and a variety of other mediums including digital artwork and design. I've been working in this field since I “could hold a crayon”, and my favorite color is Crayola’s periwinkle

I hope to give our community’s youth the opportunity to express themselves creatively and I am most looking forward to providing affordable access to the arts to all, regardless of financial status.

I am also very interested in providing exhibitions to new artists, to provide them with experience and the avenue to showcase their talents.
