Pixilating an image and translating it into a glass or ceramic mosaic work of art started as what I thought would be a "nice" hobby. Little did I know how much I would love it.
I joined a group, bought all the equipment and supplies, did a lot of reading, went to and participated in shows, traced mosaics throughout history, learned a lot from the internet; new techniques, research, shopping and selling. I even considered having my own studio and store.
I am constantly developing my level of artistic and craftsmanship abilities, searching for innovative concepts and always thinking "what can I cover with mosaics today?"
